Overview
The Nikon ECLIPSE Ui is a modern digital upright microscope tailored for pathology and clinical workflows, designed to minimize physical strain and streamline collaborative observation. By eliminating traditional eyepieces, Ui lets users view samples on a high-resolution screen — reducing neck and eye fatigue, and enabling shared viewing among multiple people. Its design supports rapid sample handling: a slide can be loaded with one hand, and the system can autofocus and display an image in as little as 2.5 seconds. Ui provides both macro‑images (whole-slide overview) and micro‑images (detailed fields), and users can navigate seamlessly between them, annotate, and mark regions of interest. The internal PC and intuitive GUI make it easy to adjust focus, magnification, and brightness, and even support remote operation by other users over a network. With its compact footprint, high-quality optics, and powerful imaging features, the ECLIPSE Ui offers a modern, collaborative, and efficient solution for digital pathology.
