ECLIPSE LV100ND POL/DS

Overview
The Nikon Eclipse LV100ND POL/DS is a precision polarizing microscope purpose-built for dispersion staining analysis, making it especially suitable for qualitative and quantitative identification of asbestos fibers. Its CFI60 infinity optical system offers high extinction contrast, enabling detailed observations of birefringence, refractive indices, extinction angles, elongation signs, and pleochroism. Equipped with a robust, high-luminance 50 W halogen illumination system, and a fly-eye lens for uniform light distribution, this microscope ensures stable, bright illumination. The design includes a 360° rotatable, graduated circular stage with fine angular control, a detachable analyzer, and a switchable Bertrand lens (for orthoscopic and conoscopic views) to facilitate advanced polarimetric measurements. With dedicated polarizing and dispersion objectives and slots for compensators, it provides the flexibility and optical rigor required for detailed materials research and regulatory asbestos testing.
